A poem describing my time with my grandson.
Babysitting sure can be fun,
especially when Joshua, my grandson turned one,
The toys and the noise, the more the merrier,
grandpa meanwhile is getting wearier and wearier.

Josh falls, "uh oh" he says with a grin on his face,
It isn't too long till we are running a race.
Food he is eating finds it way to floor,
being with Josh is never a bore.

The phone rings--Josh's fingers on cell are active,
"Hullo" the kid says with glee where do you live?
To his triumphs he claps and chortles out "good",
I'd be glad to catch him if I thought I could.

He goes for Dad's shoes and "da da"--he exclaims,
placing them, where one could go lame and complain.
"ah eee" he screeches as he takes off his socks,
Thanks for visiting grandpa, I enjoy our nice talks..
