A poem about my fears and how they go and I follow.

Everywhere
Everything
A slide of the hand
A twitch of the foot
Consciousness
Thus
Expressive obliteration
Where to begin
When does it end
This life
Mine
A prison of time
In a wilderness
Of chaos defined
Nothing
Feels right
Something
Is quite wrong
It shouldn’t be
But it is
Every terror walks
Before my eyes
Within reality
And eventuality
They move about
No one sees them
No one but me
I try to make others
Understand
But understanding
In any form
Is damn near impossible
Call this a rant
A poetic chant
To let all of you know
Every terror walks
Mobile fears
That transcend
The darkness within
Outward bound
Aberrations of those
Still living
Breathing fears
With a pulse
Mindless slaves to themselves
They know nothing
Of what they are doing
The end result
The final reckoning
Concerns them most
Every terror walks
Where are the going
I don’t know
Will I follow
What choice do I have
As long as I can see
As long as I still breathe
The answer is something
That I am increasingly
Uncomfortable with
Every terror walks…
