2012 sucked, 2013 is gonna be better :)
2012 is nearly gone ; 2013 is nearly here
This past year was hell, it was doomed from the start
I was diagnosed with cancer, I was given a broken heart
This is a new beginning. A new start. A new year.

I was given a new freedom, a new strength to grow
Things are looking good, things are going well
I'm in good health, I could almost yell
I'm in control, I feel so alive, if only you could know
