It's just too much holiday music.
When Iva Bout went driving out
one day on Two-Two-Four,
she heard another Christmas song
and cried, “No more, no more!”

Miss Hadditt stopped and then she hopped
out of her car toot-sweet;
she threw her purse right at a nurse,
then skipped on down the street.

She shook her hair at everywhere,
intent to shake the chime;
but traffic stirred and thus she heard,
“Wonderful Christmas time.”

Iva lingered, then she fingered
the passing Yule-time goad;
Bout Hadditt raised her arms in praise
right there out on the road.

From where he parked, a cop remarked,
“Look at the crowd she draws!”
When he drew near he sure could hear
her praising Santa Claus.

Miss Hadditt leered and grabbed the beard
of someone in a truck;
She danced around and settled down
to waddle like a duck.

She was taken (somewhat shaken),
to the loony bin;
soft music played right where she laid--
the doctor soon came in.

Set to confide, she smiled wide:
she warmed up to the man.
She put the doc in a headlock
when Jingle Bells  began.
