Prom Night

Wilst I cry before I dance,
"This cannot be pure happenstance!"

The blue, the silver, the gold and taupe;
the black, the white, colors of Hope.
In the mirror, they glitter, they shine;
As if all stars in the world are mine.

Forging composure, I'm on my way
to glide until the night is day.
