Thy name is fear and deceit thy game
We drift in a void bewildered by shame
Forever searching for the way out
Enduring the pain of every bout
We think us lost for none can see
That fear’s true name is deceit

We cry for mercy, happy thoughts and love
Till we search for answers from up above
To find no more than the strongest veils
Between love, happiness and the fear that hails
And as we drown beneath deceit
We must truly wonder can we see

We watch the other gazed on by light
Too dim to shine on the path we fight
Forever swinging in the dark
