I bled with sadness,
Confusion lurked on every side.
My nostrils flared,
The heat I could feel.
Tears stream down,
But they do so in my heart,
For even my face has no tolerance,
No tolerance for the tears of its own very eyes.
Today, I bleed, I cry,
I bottle all inside.
There's a pain in my neck,
Yet I knot my tie
No one will listen,
No one will wait,
The world is at a very fast pace.
For there's so much better to attain,
Than sooth a person's pain.
As invisible as my heart may be to you,
At least the words I write would hold a place,
A place in your own very heart.
For I know you've found yourself in this same place,
A place with no one to call.
Thanks Writing.com for this place,
A place to cry and be heard
A place to bleed and be seen.
Thanks.
