Standing here
Naked and accused
Legions of no ones
Stand facing me
Pointing their crooked finger
Laughing of such ridiculousness
They are as mean as people can be
Evil bastards full hateful resentment
Wishing they were me
As I have always wished to be them
They have had it all in my eyes
And just as quick they have lost it
I have started out with nothing
And nothing is all that remains
The true God of my ways
Forcing me to be a slave
To my livable life
Transcending the bad things
Is the only chance that I have left
Yet I am unaware that it is mine
But clarity is coming home
Reality is within the present
I understand that I am facing
My only ability to escape
From a fate turned on its head
I could pull out a weapon
And instrument of death
Killing those who oppose
Killing myself thus ending my misery
But even though I have been through hell
No ill feelings do indeed swell
I am no murderer of lives
No killer of the unkind
Especially myself
I am a lover of the sublime
And the rudimentary way
In which all of us manage to survive
Such things interest me most of all
I know to get there
Where I need to go
Moving beyond all that I know
All that I have experienced
Transcending the bad things
Is what I know I must do
The legions of no ones
That face me now
Will be forced to turn away
In shame they will wait
As I pass them by…
