teach me you love me.
I will find you like an olive branch,
if you send me like the dove.
I will serve you like a faithful friend,
if you break my bonds with love.

I will come 'round like the steady sun,
if you light my way at night.
and I will win the war at hand,
if you teach me how to fight.

I will ride to heaven now,
if you provide the way.
I will give all my possessions,
if you promise you will stay.
