A very abstract poem about enslaving ideas into realities painted by me with my words. |
-Strange World Desires- by Keaton Foster Raping shame From proverbial kittens Innocents unhindered Easily rendered impotent Struggling to see things Not knowing any better Stupid little contradictions Always licking their wounds Raw they have become No longer fertile Barren little wastelands Under a blistering sun They beg for mercy There will be none They must know They must be shown I am no dark master No increasingly evil doer I am something much worse Far more than any exposed Far more than any known These are my Strange world desires There are others Equally as counter intuitive And vastly more repugnant In both scope and scale This is not about perversion This is not about gratification This is and will only ever be about My imagination spent Make believe things Made quite real If for only a time If only for a crime I am a good person at heart Presently with no heart at all I am a livable brutalization of time Mine, and no one else's I have no choice And neither should those I choose to create Those I choose to rape Not in a sexual sense Even that I would not take Some roads, darker still I will not travel Call it morals or scruples Call it quite right Or slightly wrong It makes no difference to me Or all that I see when I Close my ever-widening eyes My strange world desires Are mine and no one else's Part of my affliction as well As the foundation for all that I dare imagine while I am living Within a real world example Of a man, confined to his own Internal prison For me there will be no escape No way to break the bars Or unchain the gates In this place, in this way I must and will certainly remain… Strange World Desires Written by Keaton Foster Copyright © 2012. |
