A poem about a relationship that must end in the truest sense. |
-All That She Intends- by Keaton Foster All that she intends This life Mine Not hers Must end It must cease to exist So that she can move Just leaving me Abandoning us Is not enough She needs it all She must be free Any price she screams Any way she believes I will bleed From one moment To the impossible next Her life has become About fixing her mistakes There are many Far more than most Easily she was a fool In a world of impossible creatures She was a lamb to be slaughtered Carved up or consumed whole All that matters none No longer is that her case She has changed Into quite a terrifying beast A capable being that Must fix the mistake Of her and I She says that I am Her priority one Her determination Makes me feel consequential Knowing that I could drive her To such an undeniable end Excites me in the weirdest sense A bullet to the brain A swift kick to the face A rusty knife between the rib cage All are part of her preference Suffering is a side effect Of her absolute conquest All that she intends Is what I live And in a stranger way still Is what I will die There can be no one else For either one of us She must move on And I must move down Into the eternal ground I must rot away so that she A woman I have always loved Can have her way Freedom from an idea Escapism left unchecked There can be nothing less We both know what must be done For her to be free I must pay with all that I bleed… All That She Intends Written by Keaton Foster Copyright © 2012. |
