A journey from Darkness to light
All darkness fades no matter how,
dark and empty the space,
and with the light comes many small joy's,
life has so many treasures and until we
suffer real pain we can not see them or
even begin to understand the smallest things.

From the coldness of the Winter's death,
the icy breath and the misty air, come the
musty cold and barren smells of the damp
bush lands, the frosty ground and ice covered
rivers.

Ah to enjoy the cold of a winters morn,
the coming of the morning light enhance
the Winter's beauty, the softness of the sunlight
on the snow covered ground, the harsh cold
wind a welcome chill,a real breath of fresh air,
the darkness starts to fade.

The thaw of Spring the new life blooms,
the beautiful fragrance's of the new spring flowers,
that waft on the gentle breeze, Cherry blossom
floating in the wind to settle on the ground like snow,
what a beautiful sight to see,
a brighter sun shine a gentle warmth that warms the
heart and mind.

And oh the Summer heat, what a glory to behold,
the depth of color in the sky, so brightly blue and calming,
to the dark and threatening thunder clouds that bring the
blessed rains, and oh the delightful smell of the Eucalyptus
after the summer storms, the freshness of the wind as it
skims along the shore, Oh to feel the Summer sun on face
and skin and sand.

The wondrous colors of the Autumn, the leaves turning
gorgeous shades of yellow to red, the Summer heat begins
to fade, and the gently falling leaves softly float to
the ground, there life done for another year,
My favorite time of the year by far, the cooler air inspires
a change in mood and energy,
from the first heavy dew to the first ice cold frost,
we know that Winter once again is near,
the light begins to fade once more, but this time not
in total despair.

The winters death brings life and hope,
the wonderful warmth of am open fire to toast
your toes at the end of the day, a warming glass
of wine as you watch the snow begin to fall,
it won't be long until the Spring returns and life begins anew.
