Craving

Have you ever fallen?

dropped with no hope of being caught?

dread forming and consuming all you are?

have you ever waited for the impact of the ground?

felt thoughts slowing and body quickening

light as a feather yet fearfully sickening?

feeling tottally dead and alive?

thinking for that split second

will i survive?

My heart thickens

and like a craving i can't deny it

Hungry i starve with longing

grabbing hold and like a blanket of fear it surrounds me

giddy meniacal laughter escapes

and i am safe.
