Fists to block emotion
False thoughts enter
Taken Away
Why?

Nails to tear skin
Digging in deeper
Pressure Cooling
Why?

Hands to cover bruises
Wiping away tears
Heavy Mask
Why?

Future to reveal scars
No venturing back
Breathing Quietly
Why?

Answer?

Why?
Rendered Useless
If feelings drown
The rational I have

Why?
Teeth gritted
Moments were blurry
I wasn't paying attention

Why?
Paranoia onset
Although uncaring society
I tried away water

Why?
Spent days
With learned calm
I can now think
