I got lost and forgot who I was...
My unending tears will smear through the years;
They'll smudge all the lies you've written with fear.
Some might wash away an old faded stain,
But mostly they'll just remind me of my pain.

And I'll walk the line as I stomp on your lies;
A tale told foreboding a gruesome demise.
I can't say I warned you; won't say I tried;
But hopefully love won't be forever denied.

The saying about a scorned woman is true,
And if you're not careful, it'll happen to you.
But I blame myself for not seeing the signs;
I simply got lost in your brown, beautiful eyes.
