View from the Fence

Mr. Red
You tell me you will stay out of my life
Then you hand me your rules
And even more for my wife

What did they say?
I haven’t a clue
I just threw them away
And called up Mr. Blue

You told me I must give you my money
To house poor old Joe
And feed my neighbor sally

It was all fine with me
Till you left in a Cadillac
Made me think
Damn man why don’t you give your money back?

Seems I had a choice
Give my money or my life
So confused as I was
I consulted my wife

Her answer was simple
Said don’t worry bout it none
She said just come inside with me
And we’ll have ourselves some fun

So from my view on the fence
Neither lawn looks all that green
I guess it’s safe to say
Politics just ain’t my kind of scene
