A poem I wrote about a fictional sexy female pirate |
Calamity She’s a’ sailing away in her jet black dress And she’s looking good I must confess A cutlass in hand amidst bonny cheers On the good ship Calamity that she steers The seas are rough waves hammer the hull As she dines in the cabin on rum and seagull Waiting on the morn’ for the weather to settle All dressed up an’ ready for battle Bottle of rum and away she goes Making mincemeat of her foes Sea’s her blessing sea’s her cure She’ll make you walk the plank for sure With threats all gone, she be’ relaxing Says ‘these bloody battles can be so taxing’ She slips out of her costume she’s half naked Did you ever see anything more sacred? Counting her booty no need to add tax Smiling wryly laid back and lax Dreams of tomorrow filling her mind Forgetting her foes has an axe to grind Now to leave ship, there be a treasure chest to bury She yells ‘c’mon ya cutthroats we best hurry’ For’ the cruel sea could bring anytime A swift answer for our crime X marks the spot it’s pretty good here An’ there be a palm tree pretty near With that all done it’s back to the ship To drink n’ brawl, sing n’ kip Calamity she don’t live with fear So long as her ship and crew are near Crime she say’ it does pay An’ that’s the ol’ pirate way Dewi Hughes 11/09/2008 |
