You’re like the white,
blank pages of an empty sheet.
All you do
is stare back at me.

You’re like the ice cold shock
of the pouring rain.
Making everything stop
until the moments drained.

You’re the face in the picture
on the wall.
The girl who thinks
she knows it all.

You’re loud as the thunder
During the storm.
You burn like the fire
That sears all form.

You pretend all day
And rest all night.
To start over again
And lead all out of light.
