I could only imagine how the men and women feel when they're away from their family.
Missing Home

As I look up at the dark sky,
I begin to cry;
Feeling alone with an empty soul,
but I know I have reached my goal.

As my men grab their guns,
we all know we're God’s sons;
This could be our last night,
this could be our last fight.

We watch over each other,
I will not loose another brother;
The wind rolls over my face,
this hell is not my favorite place.

A shot is fired,
now I know why I was hired;
I pull my trigger,
my eyes start to get bigger.

Fear runs through my veins,
but I know what my mind contains;
I close my eyes,
then my body begins to rise.

Bullets fly by my head,
I will not go home dead;
I stand my ground,
all I can hear is a deadly sound.

Then everything becomes quiet,
we have won another death riot;
I’m scared to be left alone,
I just want to go home.
