..And when placed in the wrong hands, it can be fatal.
Your glare, like a spear, is thrown at me from across the room
I still have no idea what I did this time, but a truly good assault is unexpected and confusing
Your mouth, like a gun, fires deadly, unavoidable words
I have no chance of diplomacy in this battle, but surely fighting isn't the answer?
Your words, like knives, stab the heart. Damaging and wounding.
I press forward through the heated fire and icy cold that you set down upon me
Your body language, like a sheild, keeps an invisible wall between us
I attempt to escape, but I have been trapped. Your formation is structured and leaves me blundering
Your tongue, like poison, sends pain coursing through my veins
I plead, I reason, but you ruthessly take no survivors in this slaughter
Your attack, like torture, slowly gets more and more painful until I get to the brink
I hold on, with all my heart, and all my love. For our sake, I can endure the pain
Your actions, your language, your words, your eyes, your attack, like a nuclear war, bring about our total destruction
I hope. I don't know why, but I still hope that things can go back to the way they were
Why do I hope?
