The days go on one after another
Blurring the lines of life and death, day and night
Slowly rising from this old bed to see the street light beaming through the window
There's the moon hanging just over it
Must of slept all day again
The days go on again and again
Arising once more to feel the warmth of the suns rays on my skin
The goosebumps start climbing up my skin as the bitter cold of my blood quickens
Time for a cup of coffee and a cigarette
Before I know it, I've drifted off again
Not sure of the day
They've blended together for so long that it doesn't matter anymore
The labor of living
The pain of hunger
It's just another day
Another day that just goes on like the rest
