My life, at least as I see it.

"Thus the heavens and the earth were finished, and all the host of them. And on the seventh day God ended his work which he had made; …"

"And the LORD God formed man of the dust of the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; and man became a living soul."

"And the LORD God commanded the man, saying, Of every tree of the garden thou mayest freely eat: But of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, thou shalt not eat of it: for in the day that thou eatest thereof thou shalt surely die."

"And the LORD God said, It is not good that the man should be alone ..."

Random Verses from Genesis 2: 1-18

We all know those verses above, or at least most of us do. Like the Bible states; there's a Heaven, there's the Earth, there's good and evil, man (also woman), and they shouldn't be alone ... Let's think about it for a second. Let's think about our lives, our beliefs ... I can assure you that you’ll end up with a LOT of questions, like; Does Heaven and Hell exist? What is good and evil? Why shouldn’t I be alone?  What if … and so on … But the argument I want to discuss is more important than that. The focus should be on the "process" Not on the "what if". If you ask me to describe what all those places MEAN to me? The answer would be "My Life". Plain and simple.  I’ll tell you why.

I've been through all those places more than once, like EVERY BODY else does, because every one of them forms a part of it all. Life. For better or for worst, life is a whole and we have to live it!  There’s so much more for us to see out there!  We have to travel and learn!  There’s not even enough time for us to pause; even though we have to take some time off to BREATH IN. I’ve been through heaven, through hell, and even through the "middle" part of it all. And you know what? I’ll keep on going! I’ll keep on walking and walking, but always with my favorite pair of sneakers on. What’s life without a good pair of sneakers?  *Wink*  Of course we also need a HUGE smile painted on our faces? We shouldn’t live our lives with tears hanging out all the time, and a Waning Crescent Phase on our lips. Why should we? Shit happens, that’s for sure, but we can clean it up and try to make it’s scent disappear, instead of just sitting there "enjoying" the aroma? I bet you’ll go with the first choice!  Huh!

I’m not saying that I’m the strongest of all, but I’ll choose NOT to surrender. I’m not saying that I’ve never felt like dying, but as soon as I let it all out, I’m on my feet again. I’m not saying that I don’t need a hand, but I can also manage to stand on my own. I’m not saying that I know it all, because I don’t. The thing I know for sure is, that I exist, and that's worth a fight!

Believe it or NOT, being through heaven, earth, hell, or even that tasty part in the middle, makes us grow. We shine with the beautiful wings we find in heaven above, we learn with the things we go through here on Earth, but we GROW, with the things we struggle with, when we go through Hell. We all know how it taste. And don’t give me that look! We all do! Maybe on a different kind of level or situation, but we all keep our little pieces of hell, hidden under our pillows. They are the sour taste of the memories we don't like to recall. I think they don‘t go away, no matter how hard we try to delete them from our hard drives, just because they are reminders of how strong we are, and how strong we can become. They are waiting to make us shine or develop into better souls. It’s a never ending exercise! One in which you’ll learn even more, while you keep on falling. And the real part is NOT to hit "rock bottom", because like a girl I know said, (which inspired me to write this item) and I quote: "There is no rock bottom. You can go down and down and down forever and ever … and when you thought you broke through that "rock bottom" you’ll fall straight down to hell.... "

She’s right, but the essence of it all is, to learn how to RISE! Step by step, or just flying high, the thing is to GET UP and at the right time. Then … you have to learn how to keep on moving. The so called "rock bottom" doesn’t exist, you’ll find it the day you don’t fight for what you want. The day you don’t get up from the hole you got yourself into. Because the choices are always there, right in front of you. You just have to SEE.

Sneakers …

"Sneakers ARE the secret of life." One of my favorites quotes. Like Carl Hammerschlag, author of "The Theft of the Spirit" relates, and I’ll quote:

Once, an old woman who was speaking to me without a comma or period, said:

"That’s the secret of life."

I know I’ve missed something so I ask her

"How are sneakers the secret of life?" And she repeats,

"I wear these sneakers because they are only comfortable when you keep moving. That’s the secret of life; you gotta keep moving."

I LOVE *Heart* my pair of sneakers! Old, black and stinky, but they always keeps me moving. And the best part is, at the end of the road, my feet NEVER HURT!!!

So NO matter if you are going through Hell, Heaven or Earth right now.  Not even if you are lost at the middle … GO ahead!  Grab a pair of sneakers and start MOVING ….  *Wink*
