Amy is a tiny four-year-old mentally handicapped girl. But she's smarter than you think... |
I look like a two-year-old who hasn't learnt how to talk. Cos' I don't talk, only to sis. But one journey changed my whole life... As I was walking to my room, the doorbell suddenly rang. I jumped and rushed into Amelia's room and pulled Amelia out to the door. At the door stood a kind woman. "Hello dear, you can call me Aunt Lola. Where is your Mummy and Daddy?" Dead. For some reason I am afraid of her. Everytime this sort of feeling happens it would feel like adrenaline is gushing through my veins and I would get hyper and super-scared. Amelia invited her in without answering her question and we immediately got to the point. "As you know, Aliens are coming to invade us and I am here to see if you qualify for this school." From her bag she took out an electronic device, selected a game and told Amelia to play it. She fumbled with the controls and finally beat the enemies with a ship left. Then, Aunt Lola gave me the electronic device."Have a go," she said in her sweet voice. I looked and saw that it had been put onto level Hell. What??!! I do not even know how to play it! I quickly read through the information given and understood the three dozen controls there are. The enemy formed a big but enclosed circle around a planet and the ships kept moving in random directions. This is easy, I thought to myself as I efficiently navigated my ships close to the planet and planted a bomb thingy in one of my ships. Then, I flew of with the rest of the ships as I watched the planet explode. When I had finished, Amelia and Aunt Lola stared at me, mouth wide open. "You are in!" She said to both of us. In the school, I spent my time crawling through the air ducts. It was simple enough for I was not growing because I rejected most of the food they gave me. I managed to hack into the school system and found out that there was absolutely no information that I could gather from this school. Weird. I picked up my necklace and pressed a button and talked into the necklace. It was my way of sending a message to my sister. " Something wrong with the school. " I know that she would immediately understand and do something, though she is too far away for me to read. Nevertheless, I continued to crawl through the air ducts. In a day, I know the whole complex system of the school. So, it was a piece of cake for me to even go to the principal's office. The Principal's Office! That's it! Maybe I can gather a bit of information there. I quickly crawled through the air ducts to the principal's office and stayed there, as quiet as a mouse or even quieter. I saw the principal coming in with another person. I gasped as I looked at the figure I know too well - Dad. " How is it going?' Me dad's deep voice boomed through the room. "Very well, sir.I believe the children are ready." Ready for what? I thought. Not possibly galactic battles. " But are they loyal to Russia? I mean, they might be ready physically, but mentally?" Russia? Why Russia? Then I understood. We are here to help Russia in the upcoming Earth war! I must save all the children here from this horrible plot. Thus I began my plan... **************************************************************************************************************************************************** I stood on a cafeteria table and banged a spoon against my metal plate. This caught everyone's attention. " Hey, everyone! This is an emergency. We are going to help fight Russia in a war!" Everyone paused for a moment and laughed out loud. I shouted at the top of my lungs, "Russia is going to have a big war and we are the ones who are going to control the army! Kids leading people to their deaths!" Everyone froze. These children here are smart enough to believe me and we soon started the plan. Sally, being a real crybaby, always attracted all the teacher's attention. She stood in the middle of the hallway and prepared to wail when we give the signal. Aurora is so speedy that she can burn a hole in the wall, which she will do to lead us to freedom. The principal will be out the whole time for a meeting so she is taken care of. And thus concludes our plan. Simple, but effective. Amelia gave the signal and Sally screamed cried. All teachers immediately ran to Sally as her high pitched scream filled the air. Luckily, Jessica remembered to remind us to wear earplugs. Then, it was Aurora's turn. She speeded up and left a trail of fire behind her. The wall did not give in! This spells trouble. Amelia quickly ran to the door and looked at the lock. It was way too complicated. We all know that Sally would not be able to keep up the crying any longer. It was up to me. Then suddenly, my mind flashed. 654997fhhrjU%%48AsshtNE. The passcode. I had saw it flash across a teacher's monitor screen. I told the passcode to my sister and she quickly unlocked the doors. Just when we wanted to shout 'Freedom!", we froze - outside stood principal Melone. "Just what do you think you kids are doing!" She snarled with a hint of fear in her voice. "We are running away," I said bluntly. This will be the one and only battle that we will fight together. Surge! It won't take more than a minute. "Freedom!" We shouted as we surged through the door. That's right. It took only 20 seconds. We did not look back. Just went all the way home. With dad. ~985 words~ Natilky Gin |
