And winning.
It's the start of the race, hardly out of the gate;
No looking back and no time to negate.
There's a thrill on the line and the sun in my face,
And I'm watching as love gives way to the chase.

There are so many words and yet words can't relate,
A concoction of feelings too awesome to feign.
I know that my head has ruled long and great,
But it's about time my old heart got to reign.

And fear is smothered by trusts heavy weight,
As I pull myself closer to the hands of old fate.
And in this sweet moment, in your embrace,
I know there's no other who could love me this way.
