A poem about love and betrayal.
Your words taste sour and vile
I hate your crooked smile
Are you sorry for what you've done?
Are you scared of what's to come?
The tide rolls up
Your time is up
It's time to pay for what you said
And It's time to pay for what you made
Of me
A hipocrisy is what you are
You'd never hurt a soul
And yet you killed me with your
Shoulders, shrugging
Like you didn't have a clue
It just came straight out of the blue
And yet I trusted you
You told me
You loved me
Even more than the stars
And yet you gave me these scars
I guess you have the need
To stab my back
And watch me bleed
It's been happening for years
I swear your laughs are in my tears

And yet I am the fool
I let you get too close
I believed each word you told me
You sold me
And now it's time to pay
You're gonna pay today
