A father wants to send his daughter away for summer vacation,
Jennifer looked to the ground and back to her father. "Please Daddy don't make me go to grandma's house this summer." Jennifer gave him a pout.

We've talked about this time and time again. My job takes me on the road, sometimes for a week. I cannot allow you to stay alone all that time. It can't be compromised. I'm sorry Jennifer. Besides your grandparents are old, but they still like to have fun. I'm sure you'll have a great time together. Her dad kissed her on the top of her head.

She slowly walked to the bus, looking back at her dad. Hoping he would change his mind. But, he didn't. She found a seat closest to the window. She watched her dad till he was out of view.
