Three little hearts

I have three little hearts that beat

strong and proud,

though they beat separately

they are one.

I love the way those little hearts

brighten all they touch.

They are kind and loving,

and strong to face all life's challenges.

They fill me with such pride

when I see them grow,

each day becoming little women and men,

beating together as they face the world.

One day those three little hearts

will leave and beat on their own,

But I know that wherever they go,

whatever they do

I will always hear those little hearts

beating strong and proud and near.
