A poem about my cousin who passed away
Ten Christmas's will have passed, since he's been gone.
We cope with the sadness, knowing he's not alone.

We sit and remember, the man that he was.
And think of his birth, as he filled our hearts with love.

The day was July 1st, when he was first born.
He was reborn January 16th and our hearts were torn.

Though God may have good reason, we still wonder "Why?"
He chose you on that day, for his mansion in the sky?

He is in a better place, and with others we have lost.
It's sad that he was taken, by someone elses cause.

Though we know he's with youand that it's best not to cry.
But we still ask you Lord because we don't understand, "Why?"

So this Christmas we'll rejoice, that he's in a place of pure love,
And await the day, "Til we meet again", in your mansion up above.
