I had a dream. I danced over the wavy surface of the sea, danced with the clouds above. My hair was blowing in the wind, there was only the night and me. Then I saw children coming through the door, stepping out into the night to great me. I was drawn to their laughter that was so cute and bright, each one was holding a Pumpkin Light, their eyes were shiny and free. The Pumpkins were dancing along with us, we were joyful and happy and free. Then we heard many dogs barking, we couldn't see who, we didn't know what, the dogs that were coming were as black as my hat! Labrador Puppies and Labrador Mothers, the Fathers came running as well. We all together were dancing, laughing, stumbling, falling and getting up again. The joy we felt we can not describe, you had to be part of this you know. Then came a puppy, came running barking and puffing, its fur was white as snow! We danced around Snowy, for this was its name. We were singing and laughing, joined in with the barking, we wished that the night was endlessly! Then Silver lining, followed by Golden Light, the Morning said: "Hello!" The birds were joining our song, and not before long, the night was over indeed! Why do good things come to an end? I woke up in my bed, I was happy and sad, this dream was so bold and blue. Next to me on the pillow lay Snowy? Where do you come from, was it all true? |
