Another random melancholy poem
Slow down
They feel heavy in your hands
Exhale
While you press them to your face
They work wonders on your face
Drown out your youth
Putting perspective into place

Wait
Why don't you wait for me
I caught you all alone
Simplifying me

Follow
Like I always wanted to
Share with me
Everything that you do

Slow now
They feel warm in your hands
Exhale
While you drop to the floor
Blood stains the floor
Please don't cry anymore

Don't Leave
Where would I go
Stuck on this ship
Sanity slipped

Slow still
They feel perfect in my hands
Exhale
As I press them to my chest
They work wonders on my heart
Severing my heart

Come home
You've been gone for far to long
Missing all the sadness
We don't belong
