A glistening drop,
Rolling down pale skin,
Comes to a stop,
Lingering on her chin.

It leaves a wet line,
On her smooth face
And drips into her hair
Soft like lace.

Silently she cries,
Wishing for him.
Inside she dies,
An ache in every limb.

Though her heart keeps beating,
It’s broken inside.
She hates him for cheating,
But loves his other side.

A world of pain
With no escape
Unknown consequences
