The Blind Men

Why do people give so much pain?
What do they thereby gain?
Why do relations sour so easily?
Why can’t we maintain peace and harmony?

Once having established an equation,
why can’t the relation go on in continuation?
smoothly over the crests and troughs,
that Life brings to test our worth?

A minor setback , a minor hardship,
suffices to rock any relationship;
bitter words and accusations rent the air,
Who is the culprit? Who is the victim, I fear?

Once cracked the bond becomes irreparable,
there’s no victor,both are the losers;
leaves behind a void difficult to fill,
stop relating to people,is that the best deal?


Still, Man continues to love and relate,
thereby a myth he does propogate,
handed down for generations and generations,
of Immortal Love, Fidelity and Devotion!!
