An unbroken Spirit
UNBROKEN

So you want to see me broken?
You want to see me hang my head down?
Well take heart, that's never going to happen.
I know how to pray, and I know who to pray to.
I find strength in my God, not in any mortal man.

Who do you think you are?
You are not the almighty God!
I don't have money
But I have peace, and the will to survive
I may be poor, but I am rich in God's sight
And I am always welcome at his table.

I am not swift footed
But surely I know how to walk
And that will keep me on the straight
And narrow path.

You can continue to judge me
But remember first remove the
Beam from your eye
Before you cast the mote out of my eye.
And think about the day when you yourself
Will be judged.

Remember, God does not call the righteous
And since you have no sin, cast the first stone….
You hypocrite!
