Waiting for someone you love is hard, but the loss is the hardest reality of life.
When the Moon doesn't shine anymore

There's a piece, a part of my soul;
it is trapped in abyss; it shimmers no more...
there's a wind, a cold relentless wind
I am blown away with the melody it sings...
I pray for forgetfulness beyond this perpetual void,
there're shadows in the night, places to hide...
Still, I wish you could see how my pieces glow,
When the moon doesn't shine anymore.

There's a glitter of memories in these obsidian skies
its fake innocence calls me, fills me with lies...
I search for a path, I search for a solution,
but there's no way around, my insanity and delusions
Sometimes I think it was wrong right from the start,
but there's still a furtive desire in the sanctuary of my heart
I wish you could feel the numbness in my soul,
When the moon doesn't shine anymore.

There is a litany, a whisper, a voice...
it fades away softly in these subtle blue nights
There is a breath of life in this dead air,
In these moments, I feel you're so near...
But then there're illusion, unfulfilled dreams,
like the remnants of moonlight that once glimmered in this realm.
In this incessant silence, you're the one I search for,
Even when the moon doesn't shine anymore.
