I began to tremble! I'd never held a gun of this caliber in my hand before. But I knew I was going to put it to use.

"You worthless, no good, thievin', germ infested, slime ball, " I accused nervously, the gun still shaking somewhat in my hand as I kept steady aim on my target.  He twitched a little, not saying a word. I knew he was watching me through those little beady eyes. Those guilt filled, unregretful, heartless EYES!

I looked out the window to the afternoon sun glimmering on the lake. "You'll never see another wonderful day again, when I'm done with you." My mouth getting dry as I spoke; I reached for my glass and took a swig from my drink. "Thirsty are ya? Well too dang bad mister! There's only enough here for me. 'Sides, why should I waste a perfectly good iced tea on a scum bag that's gonna be dead in just a few moments."

I felt a bead of sweat take chase down my neck. "There's no getting out of this... for either of us. But I will enjoy every second of the time I'll serve to pay for this heinous crime."

I pulled the trigger, my eyes dead set on my target. The projectile exploded from the gun and I could see it rotated along its flight path, as if I were watching it in slow motion. Preimpact, I noticed a shudder in the victims body, as if it wanted to take flight. With a "thwap!" the rubber band that was fired from my Fly Gun hit its intended target, causing instant death to the fly on the wall as its carcass fell into the Walmart bag which lined the waste can in my office.
