For the baby without a voice

Mother finally found a man she loved
After years of abuse from dad
He made her feel special both inside and out
And comforted her when she was sad

So mom let him move into our house
And shared her intimate space
She thought her life was now content
A void had just been replaced

So mommy opened up her heart
And let him deep within
She never felt so wanted before
His pleasure was her sin

As time passed by mom began to feel
A tingle inside her womb
She missed an important monthly date
Now with fear she was consumed

For the man she loved swore on his life
That both of them were protected
He resented the thought of mom conceiving
Thus making her feel rejected

She now had a critical choice to make
Though daddy was very upset
He didnt care about my life
And mommy ached with regret

So she said good bye to the man she loved
Though it pained her to see him leave
But mom decided my life was more important
All alone, she moped and grieved

So even though I had no voice
I kicked and begged everyday
And mommy listened and made the right choice
She refused to throw me away

How much I love her for giving me life
And for caring so much for me
I cant wait to come out of this darkened womb
And finally walk about free
