Distance In Time

In shadows the night stalks my dreams
At times I feel the earth moving

I wonder the sand and start to sink
A hazed feel haunts my every blink

The clock will strike its last gong
I will hope in tune my heart is wrong

As far out on ocean an eye can peer
My passing is one that I must fear

For fright is not what tries my soul
But to miss on what I have yet to hold

A comfort from anothers life
The one I've let to ease my strife

A shape to form in my smile
Once the hours come I'll share that mile
