A Poem about writing

"Look at me," the letters cry out
As they fall to the paper below
Words taking shape as letters escape
While forming an intricate flow

The "M" takes its place beside the "e"
And a word is suddenly born
The "N" takes it slow but makes friends with the "o"
And a brand new allegience is sworn

The "U" and the "s" are standing in line
With each one awaiting their call
Up comes the quill who just had its fill
Now "us" can finally fall

The "T" and the "h" call out to the "e"
Though nothing but silence is heard
The "e" has been busy which makes him quite dizzy
But joins them in forming a word

The "E" and the "n" wave to the "d"
The last letter the poet will send
His quill running dry, he now says goodbye
For he has finally come to "THE END"
