A Rose in A Field of Weeds

In my past I would walk through the grass

I'd kneel to smell the flowers that lined my path

Many were pretty, and some were sweet

But all in all not one was unique

So I thought to myself as I journeyed on further

Is all flora the same, is my search even worth it?

I had almost lost hope as I crossed through the trees

In the clearing ahead, the most wonderful scene

Never could I dream a flower so pretty, so sweet
