No one may see her weakness

May see her tears

Someone seeing her cry

Is all she ever fears

Covers her pretty face

Straights her pretty hair

And no one knows in fact she ain’t

The girl who’s standing there



Cause when the rain is falling down

She pretends it are rays of sun

And when the whole world turns against her

She pretends there’s nothing wrong

She’s staying strong and keeps on smiling

Pretends that everything’s alright

But nothing ‘bout her is so strong

She’s  just  too  afraid  to    fight



                             

She knows all the right people

Sings all the right songs

Even though she knows

It’s not where she belongs

She thinks she’s able to

Pretend everything’s OK

And one day it will be different

But that day is not today

She pretends it are rays of sun

And when the whole world turns against her

She pretends there’s nothing wrong

She’s staying strong and keeps on smiling

Pretends that everything’s alright

One day she will wake up

She’ll wake up and see the light

She’ll realize it’s her life

And will finally try to fight



So little girl

Just have faith

And keep on praying

You won’t realize too late
