A look into the mind of a warrior as he is fighting for his life.
Open your eyes dammit, open up now. Why wont my left eye open?
Okay now get up.
So much blood, mine? Yes, the spear point broke through.
Damn blacksmith, probably used that cheap metal. I will have his head.
Can I pull the spear out? No, its stuck on something. That is not good.  More blood.
Get up, you have to get up now.
Where are they?
There we go, cut the shaft off.
Breathe, just breath, put the pain elsewhere.
I have to get out of here.
Where in the hell is my horse?
So dizzy, come on focus.
Move your legs.
Oh, there is my sword.
It feels so heavy now.
Focus.
Her Eyes, yes, remember her blue eyes. The fire in them, Give me strength my lady.
There he is, cowardly bastard.
Damn highwaymen, I will unmask him and put his whole filthy family to the sword.
More blood. The pain maybe I should sit back down.
Focus.
Remember her eyes, her lips. Ah, those pink lips.
Cocky little bastard.  Striding over here with that tiny blade.
Its getting cold, I can't feel the sun.
Focus now! He is close.
Her Lips, yes her lips on yours. Remember that feeling.
His dagger is up, is it going left or right?
Left, that’s good. A easy block.
The more I move the more blood there is, I must be done with this now.
Here he comes again, to my right? No his left leg is leading, what a simple feint.
That’s right boy, come at me.
The sword is getting heavier.
Yes, he is coming at my left again.
Hah, how does steel taste.
Not so cocky now.
Deeper, yes push the sword in deeper, give it a twist.
So much blood. I need to sit down.
The grass is so soft, maybe I should lay back for a bit.
Focus.
Remember her lips, her eyes, her hair.
Its getting so dark out, is it night time already?
I will feel better in the morning then.
My love give me your strength. I will be with you tomorrow.
Your eyes, your beautiful blu.....

end.
