The Adventures of Stone: Chapter 3 Meetings and Farewells

Stone was beginning to think this trip was a bad idea from the get-go, and thought that this Xipil dragoness has more then meets the eye about her. She seemed shady but at the same time, so perfectly calm and loyal to Exodus. This made Stone curious about her, not only this but the fact that he started to think she has some sort of grudge against him.

Xipil: "Yes?"

Stone had forgotten that he was staring at her this whole flight to the village. He quickly fixed his eyes in front of him.

Stone: "Uh.. Sorry, I got distracted."

Comanche: "Heya Stone, ya' best watch your self, I heard there is all sorts of thieves there just waiting for the opportunity to rob ya' blind man."

We continued flying until we saw a large clearing with primitive looking stone buildings and a circular market place area with suspicious wares and strange merchants covered in bandages to where you couldn't see their faces. We began to descend to this Plaza to see if we could gather any information about the Dark Lord, or any uprisings in Tribal Territory. We just landed when I saw a fight break out between some Pink female dragon and a orange dragon with black wings. A Blazing red dragon chasing after him breathing fire at his wings, not actually making contact because of the icey wall the dragon made. Then a Black dragoness appeared, looking as if he had seen a ghost he flew back getting punched in the gut by a purple dragon making him throw something in the air. I saw a glint of gold fly by, caught by Spyro, the Legendary Purple Savior.

Stone: "Woah, Its.. its Spyro!" I managed to choke out, gasping in awe.

Xipil: "Ugh.." she said in a low voice of disgust.

Spyro: "Here Ember, this belongs to you." Spyro said heroically and receiving a kiss from her, making a certain dragoness jealous.

Mellador: "Hmph, well there is a first time for everything I guess." He said defeated in his attempt to make quick profit, flying off through the crowed muttering things under his breath.

I went over to him greeting Spyro, and shaking his paw. Lightning looked impressed as well.

Comanche: "Nice one Spyro, you were all like Bam! Take that haha, you ol' hero you"

Spyro: "Uh thank you, heh, um who are you guys? If you don't mind me asking."

Stone: "I am Stone, and I have some news you might need to know. We were heading here to find further information about this , however you might wish to know this as well Spyro."

After getting the disturbing news, Spyro frowned deeply and looked at the sky.

Cynder: "Spyro, how could this be? Malefor back? This does not make since." she said shaking her head."

Stone: "We can't be entirely sure it is Malefor but perhaps someone of equivalent power."

Ember and Flame: "Spyro we wish to return to the dragon realms portal. We don't wish to get involved in this. Yeah, but if you need us you know where to find us." the couple said flying off.

Spyro: "Me and Cynder wish to meet your headmaster we need to discuss the safety of all of Draconia. When Malefor or whatever it is it could be a global threat. In fact I have to get Hunter's Clan and warn them, precautions if anything."

Sparkle: "Stone, lets not hold them up." She put her paw on his shoulder.

Stone: "Alright, I bet I know where we could find information now. Hey! I just realized, where'd Xipil go!?"

Sparkle: "No idea, I was wondering myself."

Comanche: "I don't know, but I'm guessing we best be on our way."

As the Heros departed from one another, on important errands, a certain pathetic dragon was wandering around looking for more things to steal. On his usual search for the weak and unaware, he stumbled upon a dragoness in a alley way, with the most bluest of eyes, and an entire body of beautiful sapphire blue color, laying in the shade of a large malborha tree. His eyes lit up with excitement as he saw in her paw a bracelet of pure dragonite. He thought to himself that this would fetch him an easy one fifty gold pieces. He silently crept over and began lifting her paw ever so slightly, to remove the bracelet. She began to stir from a dream hitting him square in the crotch on accident.

Mellador: "Ahhh! Oh my gahhh... My.. Ow!" he bowed in pain making a loud groan waking her.

Blurina: "Huh? Oops did I hurt you some how? It is kinda of a bad habit of mine heehee."

Mellador: "Gah! You stupid wretch, I can't even ste..I mean walk in peace."

Blurina: "You tried to take my bracelet didn't you? It's really my friend's Stardust. I won't let you just swipe it hun."

Mellador: "Now you listen here.." He tripped on her tail, causing him to hit her snout in a rather hilarious kiss." He blushed backing up.

Blurina: "Woah. Nice one" She giggled.

Mellador: "I didn't mean that. I mean hehe thanks." He grinned as if he won some big prize.

(POV Change)-Mellador

Suddenly three dragons came flying through to where I was. It was a green dragon, a good looking yellow dragon and a red dragon, all hurdling towards me. When does it end he thought getting ready for a fight.

Yellow dragoness: "Hey it's you, we need some answers. Might as well ask you I thought."

Mellador: "Look brats, I don't know who stole anythin' from ya." I said in a irritated voice.

Stone: "Look, we need your help. Lets get on good terms, I am Stone, she is Sparkle and he is Comanche."

Comanche: "Ya, you little crushable criminal."

Mellador: "Fine, fine what do you want?"

Stone: "There are tribals that broke the truce spying on my home Draconia attacking me in the forest. I need to know which of the tribes have been acting strangely. Do you know?"

Mellador: "Of course I do, I know everything. It is those annoying brothers a few miles east of here a bit closer to your little city. But I personally think it is that Monster Deminos's cultist's clan. But you might wana check on the brothers first, since they are closer. Deminos lives way up north, but has many followers all along this stretch. Ya know this info is quite rare I expect a lot of gems for this."

Blurina: "Why do you need to know about Deminos!?" she asked right after Mellador finished.

Stone: "This is a matter of global crisis theif, as for why he could be threatning a lot more then just our land if he is the new Dark Lord."

Blurina: "Let us go to my friend StarDust's house. Perhaps we could, uh come with you it sounds like an adventure, and I love adventures."

Stone: "I am sort of tired. But we lost our teacher, I think she would be mighty angry if she knew we were just goofing off." He said worried.

Blurina: "Nonsense! You look way to exhausted to be running around taking on Dark Lords." She said playfully.

Melladore: "Nah, I'm good. Enough adventure for a life time." With that I left the fools to go face their end.

(POV Change)-Stone

I sure was exhausted, good thing I decided to go with this dragoness. We arrived at a cave not to far from where we were. Inside was decorated with flowers and jewls, Mellador would of loved it here. A lone dragoness that had purple eyes, with black and red scale, awaited inside looking worried.

Stone: "You must be StarDust right?"

StarDust: "That is right, and you are? Oh hey Blurina, these friends of yours?"

Blurina: "You could say that." She grinned.

With that we exchanged greetings and had eaten some of the meat the host offered us. We were able to also heal from some Mana Crystals. When it happened.

StarDust: "Hey is he with you to?" She pointed outside the door.

A blue flame came swirling through the doorway seeting the inside on fire. We all got ready for a fight from whoever this stranger was. His shadow left the doorway's sunlight and we all flew outside looking around. The skies were empty except for a very big looming shadow so far up we couldn't tell who it was. Suddenly a rain of blue fire balls began to fall in our direction. I shielded my group with a massive earthen wall, formed from the rocky soil below. The spheres of glowing flame hit hard but merely knocked some gravel loose. I looked from behind it but the shadow was not there anymore.

Valefore: "Hello interlopers, I finally tracked you down."

He lunged his paw claws extended, hitting my arm I used to block my face. I quickly maneuvered behind him ramming his wings with my horns. But he disappeared into blue flame on contact burning my horns instead.

Sparkle: "There he is!"

Sparkle and Comanche both dove to him using their tails as weapons hitting him on his breast opening big gashes. He fell back a bit and punched Sparkle in the gut, causing her to faint. Comanche caught her and laid her down beside Blurina and StarDust.

Valefore: "If you wana-be heros can only muster this then the Dark Lord's plans will unfold quite fast."

Stone: "Who is this so-called Dark Lord anyway you jerk!?"

Valefore: "You worse nightmare my friend. A three headed god of darkness. I serve him till I die, enough talk."

He hurled towards me his claws poised to kill, at that moment I blacked out, I don't remember anything that happened next except what they told me.

(POV Change)-StarDust

This was getting pretty bad, the sky darkened and the rocks and plants began to shake around me. I looked into Stone's eyes and they had changed into a frightening light green that, glowed with such an intense light they scared me. His scales changed to a darker color as well. The dirt began to float in the air large rocks and stones began to lift themselves and pack on to Stone's back. I heard some clinging noise and realized the Crystals from my home flew out of the doorway, shattering one placed its jagged ends pointed away from his back. He turned into a large spiked boulder and hit the grey dragon, causing him to fall and as soon as he did, Stone crushed him. He pounded the dragon again and again, until I heard someone say stop. It was Sparkle tearing up. I didn't even think she had gotten up yet.

(POV Change)-Stone

I awoke covered in dirt and when I stepped pieces of rocks fell from my scales. It was hard to see from all the dirt formed to a yellowish smoke. I felt lightheaded and saw the crater. Inside was a once grey dragon mostly covered in blood now. What happens to me when I black out? Am I really the monster around here? I saw Sparkle by my side clutching onto my arm. I put my paw on her head assuring her it would be alright, now unaware if I could keep that promise.

Xipil: "I see you handled that spy you were talking about, huh?" She said in an almost nonchalant way.

Sparkle: "Where did you run off to? We needed you!"

Xipil: "Information of course. Same as you, however I need Comanche to come back with me." She glanced at Stone

Xipil: "Oh and the Headmaster wishes for you to come back its a matter of being expelled." She smiled.
