about a guy and a girl of the supernatural universe
He spun, deflected the blow from the sword headed straight towards his juggular. Chuckling, he shoved the dagger into the Demon's chest. He staggered back and hit the wall. After that he diminished into nothingness.

"Serves you right, you shouldn't eat humans. It's not healthy," he reprimanded.

Pheobe Adelfos stalked out of the alley, and wiped his hands down his leather jacket, smoothing it out. His three commander's braids wipped behind him as he swung onto his black and blue Harley Shadow.

Kallie Deahman jumped onto the counter of Night Sanctum and swung her legs over behind it. It was her turn to deal with the supernatural crowd, as it had been for the past three hundred years. The thing about being part Celtic Deahman and part Vampyre, she had to live forever. While yes, the concept was nice, but alone it wasn't all it was cracked up to be. Kallie sighed as she say one of the Shades walk up.

MacKenzie laid his arms across the bartop and growled, rubbing his eyes with a thumb and forefingers. "Remind me why I deal with this shit again?"

"Because Hades pays you a shitload of money?" Kallie said just to a be a smartass.

MacKenzie managed a very sarcastic, humorous laugh. "Okay, then tell me why I deal with you Kallie Girl?"

"Because I'm one of the only people that can actually understand the shit you go through," Kallie murmured, leaning forward to make sure he was the only one that heard her soft whisper. "And I'm the only one that you consider family and actually care about, Kenz."

"You think so?" MacKenzie asked, twiddling his thumbs.

"I know so," she said just as a foreboding aura entered Night Sanctum's supernatural security field. Kallie looked up and saw a shadow, the owner of the mysterious, dark aura, slip into the corner, into the deepest shadows.

"You know him?" MacKenzie asked, following my gaze.

"No," Kallie replied, getting another customer a beer. "I was just wondering who he was. I haven't seen him around before."

"From the smell of him,"MacKenzie muttered. "He's probably a newly transferred Shade."

Shades were Hunters Of The Night. Any thing that went bump in the night, the chased after it, and killed it. The thing was that these creatures of the bad weren't stupid. They knew how to fight, when to fight, and more importantly, when to back out. They were smarter than most gave them credit for. Kallie didn't want to go up against them after they had made their first human kill. After that point in their life, they weren't allowed into Night Sanctum. They could kill all the supernatural creatures they wanted to, but taking a human's life seriously screwed up the creatures mind. It became addictive. Like herion, one hit and you're dependant on it for the rest of your life.
