HER NAME IS CHLOE

Her name is Chloe, this little bundle of joy
Who will change our lives in many ways
As she wraps us all around her tiny fingers
While her coos and cries fill our nights and days

She has captured the hearts of her Mommy and Daddy
In her pink and white ruffles and lace
To her Grandma she is an angel sent from above
Yet in all our hearts she has her place

To protect this angel will take me to any length
As she lays in my arms I watch her dream
She captured my heart with her first little smile
As she opens her eyes the room lights-up with a sunbeam.

My love and devotion to her is already in place
And as I look into those hazel eyes my heart skips a beat
I just want to keep her safe in my arms her entire life
While assuring she remains peaceful as she sleeps.
