Not His Time

Arrested at 12,
Failed at 14,
Jailed at 16,
Dropped out at 17...

His whole life was troubled
Filled with fear and doubt...

Hospitalized at 18,
Attempted suicide next year...

His life still troubled,
And still full of doubt,
He changed the way he forever thought...

Fell in love at 21,
Sober since 22,
Had a baby at 24...

He's lived his life,
He's now 62.
But between his 19th and 21st birthday somewhere,
His life was saved.

He was to die at 19,
The day of his tried suicide,
But when he jumped the rope snapped,
And he fell to his knees crying from fear.

God stated clearly it wasn't his time.
