Prisoners relaying their experience in Cook County jail.
I was caught in the throes of Hell.

Locked down deep in Cook County jail.

Praying daily, pleading more and more.

Begging the LORD to please open the door.

Caught in a nightmare, beyond belief.

Starving, sad, and seeking instant relief.

Could'nt believe jail could be so bad.

But Cook County is designed to make you sad.

Food so lacking, you can only lose weight.

Oatmeal and bologna, you begin to hate.

Officers true demons, assigned from Hell.

To make life miserable, in Cook County jail.

LORD, please have mercy on me.

Tell the judge to set me free.

No man should have to live this way.

Trapped in Hades, from day to day.

Punishment designed to make you pay.

For what you did that unfortunate day.

If you ever see the street once more.

No future crime lies in store.

Because jail has set your crime desire free.

And you will never have to accept a plea.
