Our memories.
Now that the lights are faded
And the music's gone away,
The ash is left of your cigarette
And the table tops are stained.

We awaken to a sunlight;
We've awoken to the pain.
Knowing now the morning
Will always be our bane.

What happened to the parties?
Were they all in vain?
And where have all our friends gone?
What happened to our fame?

I wanted to be in love with you,
To erase the point of blame.
But there is no love for me in here.
I'm afraid my quest's in vain.

So I'm closing the door I opened
When I was young and so afraid.
And the fun memories of you and I
Are safely tucked away.
