This is a story from my life.
My life began January 28 1995 in mobile alabama. I was born an only child to a good mother. She was a white woman and my father who I haven`t until the last few years was of african american desent. So as you may guess I came out a nice moca color. I faced unusual challenges growing up. In school I was sometimes treated differently by teachers and students alike. I was called names such as oreo and mixed breed. I was also asked by some in a highly sarcastic way what are you. I have been mistaken as indian and hispanic. During all of this I alway ask my self where will they be in five years and where will I be. So I began to push myself in every thing I did to be the best. In acedemics I would work late into the night to insure I had the best grade on the upcoming test. In sports I would stay in the wieght room working until the last shred of energy had left my body. An I was the best I was the validictorian of my graduating class and a leader and star on the playing field. I would just like my life to be an example to anyone who faces problems due to race or any other difference. When people tell you your not as good you prove them wrong. Be the best at what you do.
