Shadows in the light

It was there.
I could feel it.
It was pressing me,
urging me to
fight it.
Its force was
so intense
that I couldn't escape.
Every move I made
Every step I took,
pain shot through me.
I couldnt open
my eyes.
For the light was to bright.

Then,
there was nothing.
Nothing at all.
The force was gone.
The burning pain,
disappeared.
I opened my eyes.
I could breath once more.
The sweat
was dripping down
my face.
I was shocked.
I was still alive
