Memories

                                                                                      In my head,
                                                                                  I hear your voice,
                                                                                      Calling me.

                                                                                    Slowly turning,
                                                                            I see a nightmare before me,
                                                                            Oh, and yes, Terrible it is.

                                                                              Thoughts and Memories, 
                                                                                Flowing back quickly.

                                                                                      As I stagger,
                                                                                    I feel your hand,
                                                                                    Strong and Firm,
                                                                                    As it holds me up.

                                                                                        I hear you,
                                                                          You tell me to open my eyes.
                                                                        You tell me everything is fine now.

                                                                                        Dazed,
                                                                                    I look around,
                                                                                    and find nothing.

                                                                                          Yet,
                                                                                I know you are here,
                                                                                        with me,
                                                                                        Always.
